Before I get back to my mining (remember to get Orichalc on floor 25 this time, Rach D:<), I'm gonna make a quick post to thank my dad for leaving that gaming magazine out that day, which was a loooong time ago. If not, I would never have seen that advertisement for Magical Melody, and then I would never have looked up Harvest Moon, and then I would never have heard of DS/DSC/IoH/SI, and by extension would never have heard of Vaughn or Julia or Skye or Celia or Nami or Lanna or Sabrina or Mark or Mayor Thomas the stalker or Dr. Trent or Shea or all the other awesome fictional characters in the games. ♥ (Even though they're all just a bunch of pixels... WHO CARES. Pixels are awesome friends when you don't have a social life. Which is all the time for me during the holidays. xP xD)

Also, I want to write a Harvest Moon crackfic someday. Sounds like fun. 8)

Get my flute back from Lauckerface and start practicing again. Do well next semester even though I'm probably gonna die from homework overload and procrastination. Write moar fanfic. Keep developing that plot bunny that I have which is sort of an extension of RCII but not really.

Van taught me Plants VS Zombies. It is strange. You take Bellsprouts and Sunfloras and Cherubies and you make them shoot at zombies. Apparently it "gets complicated" in later levels. Hrm. o_O

The sleepover... actually wasn't that exciting. We DS'd and Harvest Moon'd and epically fangirled over hot silver-haired fictional guys. xD ("We" meaning me, Tangerine, Micherface, and Shandershon.) (Although the latter two did not participate in the aforementioned fangirling. Actually, they were kinda scared. As was everybody else. 'Specially by me, I think, judging by their reactions. Who knew Rachel could squeal like that. xD) Also, we Animal Crossing'd and Mario Kart'd (no Tetris this time D:) and karaoked (why is there not a proper past tense form for "karaoke", spellcheck?) and Facebook'd (Micherface and Darynaface and Tangerface only) (that I know of anyway). Also, I discovered yesterday that Avril Lavigne's songs are harder to sing than Taylor Swift's. Argh. @__@

Also, we did not get to make record Lauckerface's present, because there was not enough time. :( WE WILL DO IT LATER THIS WEEK. PROMISE. (Also, Love Story on piano is apparently hard to sightread on the spot. Although I'd probably find it hard too. Since I can't sightread. I wonder if I would find it hard if I could. Probably. If Vannerface couldn't do it, thennnnn... yea. D:)

What else did we do. Most of us got four-ish hours of sleep in. Micherface got a lot more, since she fell asleep waaaaaay before us. :P Additionally, Sarah kept molesting my leg and sleeping on it. And Tangerine kept using my stomach as a pillow this morning. Nice to know I'm useful, guys. :P (Does that mean I'm fat? o_O) (... I won't go there.)

In other, non-sleepover-related news, my aunt was supposed to catch her flight to the US today, but apparently "some idiot", as my dad said, decided to blow up fireworks on a plane last week, so now security's been upped so much and a lot of flights have been canceled and delayed. When we went inside the airport, it was so crowded in there and people were just standing and sitting around waiting in lines to check into their flights, or trying to find out if they even have a flight to go on anymore, and there were a bunch of other huuuuuge lineups for other things that I don't know. Apparently it would take a lot more than five hours to get through those lineups. Some people even slept over at the airport waiting in line. Dear goddess, it was a mess. D:

In the end, my parents decided to skip the flight and drive my aunt to the US themselves. Which is a ten-hour drive. (No, I don't know which state they're headed for.) They said they'll be back by tomorrow afternoon/evening-ish, which is sort of why I'm still up typing on this blog, because they would have made me go to sleep a loooong time ago because I told them that I only got four hours of sleep last night. (Hopefully this will be the only night for the rest of the school year that I get such little sleep.) (Probably it will be.) (AHEM FANDI JASON ETC. D:<)

Hmm. I don't think I've fixed my habit of alternating between writing run-on sentences and writing choppy non-sentences yet. D: I wonder if our English teacher whose last name I forgot how to spell right now will mind this. (Seeing as he's a high school English teacher... he probably will. xP)

I can't sing Taylor Swift's songs properly. She tends to sing in that range just between my normal voice and my falsetto voice, so I'm either straining to sing high notes in my normal voice, or straining to sing low notes in falsetto. THIS IS HARD. D: Also, she either has an insane lung capacity, or great skillages. (AHEM coda of Love Story AHEM. If you listen carefully, you can't really hear her taking a breath. Well, she might have taken a small one somewhere in the middle, but still, that's not enough to sustain those last few lines. I tried multiple times to sing that whole phrase the way she sang it. It didn't work.)

Blocky-ish paragraph makes a return. I am happy. :D I am also happy that said blocky-ish paragraph is about singing. Because I ♥ it sooo much. 8)

... Anyway. Why did I substitute the word "love" with a ♥. I don't know. I'm very touchy about the word "love". D: I never use it unless I actually mean it. Of course, I still love all of you gaiz, so. BE HAPPY. :)

Today, I discovered that Fandi's mom can text. Fandi's mom can also use chatspeak in her texting. Fandi's mom also texted Fandi in the middle of Geo. Fandi freaked multiple times today.

Madame Lipton is... scary. She did not allow us on the Gym side of the upstairs hallway (I don't know which direction that is) and therefore neither Fandi nor I could go to our lockers, even though they're in the hallway and mine is sort of in the middle-ish. Mich can't go to her locker anyway. That is why pod lockers kind of suck. :(

And a lot of other craptastic names that I'm too lazy to post, but you can bet they're just as bad. xD
